3. Do not do internet banking from public devices

Never use internet banking from public computer, mobile or tablet. These devices may contain keyloggers and malware that can steal your personal information.

4. Do not share your password

Never share your banking password with anyone. The bank never asks for your password or PIN via phone, email or message. If you receive any such message, ignore it immediately and contact your bank.

5. Do not use automatic login feature

Never enable automatic login to your internet banking account, especially when you are using a public or unsecured device. Enabling this feature may lead to unauthorized login to your account.

6. Be cautious while installing new software

Be cautious while installing any new software in the computer or mobile. Sometimes it may be malware or viruses designed to steal your banking data.

7. Avoid fraud through SMS or email

Do not click on any link from an unknown SMS or email that asks for banking information. The bank never uses these channels to ask for your account details.

8. Use 2-factor authentication

Wherever possible, activate 2-factor authentication (2FA). This makes your internet banking even more secure, as you have to verify through two different methods while logging in.
